Redesigning Assessments with AI in mind

This workshop provides a framework for evaluating a course assignment/assessment’s vulnerability to GenAI, guiding questions when considering assessment design, and look at possible options for mitigating or integrating AI use. We explore prompts for redesigning assessments and some specific tools like NotebookLM, Leon Furze's AIAS scale custom GPT, and McMaster Assessment Partner. Building Moodle quiz and H5P activities with GenAI

This workshop explores using Copilot and ChatGPT to build Moodle quizzes, H5P quizzes, H5P Drag the words, summary and fill in the blank activities with a series of prompts created by Andrew Dunn. it demonstrates all the steps you need to take, which you will find in the worksheet under the "attachments" tab. We also look at using a customGPT, Video Summarizer, to support creating interactive videos. The workshop slides are also in the attachments tab.

Co-Developing Course Materials with Copilot

This workshop reviews use of Microsoft Copilot with Enterprise license to co-develop teaching materials via text and image generation since recent October changes to Copilot. We also review the use of ChatGPT for image analysis for alt text generation, summarizing hand-drawn notes, and some customGPTs that could be useful in education work and Claude artifacts.
