Using Teams Class for Collaboration

This is the next level Teams workshop for instructors who want to explore using a Teams for collaborative engagement with their class. Creating a Teams class allows for live file sharing, process documentation, real-time feedback, and student group work in private channels with instructor support. We will explore how to strategically use features of Team classes including use cases, how to get started, scaffolding student learning, and airing with Moodle's features.

Rethinking Assessment in the AI Landscape

As generative AI capabilities have grown, along with use of these tools to learn and create (or shortcut learning), traditional assessment models need to adapt. This session explores how educators can redesign assessment practices to support critical thinking, transparency, and process-based learning. Participants will gain practical strategies for revising or designing assessments that address today’s learning environment and assure student learning.
