1) You can save a gallery view arrangement of participant
videos, but not an immersive view. With immersive view, as the host – you
can manually move videos to different locations in the scene, but just for the
session. With gallery view, you can create and save a custom view for a series
of meetings.
2) When you create the breakout room, you can
say “let participants choose rooms”. This means they can move between
rooms as well. Zoom 5.3.0 or later version for participants must be installed.
3) Here’s a great article on tips for students dealing with low internet bandwidth. Screensharing also uses lots of bandwidth. So for example if doing the collaborative whiteboard – students would do better editing it through the website link, rather than screensharing it with each other.
