In this training webinar, Mari Paz Vera and Kristina Oldenberg (VCC Library) and John Love (CTLR) show you how to use screen recording software (Kaltura and Screencast-o-matic) to capture video from the computer screen to demonstrate specific software functions, or to record lecture presentations.

We surveyed the research literature to create this evidence-based how-to. Topics include planning your content, and then recording in Kaltura and Screencast-o-matic. We also demonstrate some basic editing in Screencast-o-matic, including adding closed captions.
